I know it's random, but with Jennings possibly available, I would like to gauge who here would prefer him over Jeff Teague.

Brandon Jennings was a product of a healthy Bogut, Skiles and Ridnour.
63/82 games, I rather go for a defender and hope he can score and facilitate than Jennings who has less length and is a turnstyle.
Teague has better tools, but BJ is very creative younger and has Potential. Teague more ready to contribute

We're at that terrible place where we have to wait to see if Teague has the vision required to be a PG. If he has that vision, he has all the other tools to be a star. If not, he's a 1 and a half who comes off the bench for instant offense or defensive spot duty.'
Jennings worries me. He may be a high-maintenance prima dona. He has the vision a PG needs, but I'm not really impressed by his other gifts.

You mean Teague is like Jason Terry with defense? hmm lets sit him and start Hinrich at all calls.
Joe Johnson has the vision to be a point guard. Hinrich had a worse offensive rating than Jason Collins and a worse defensive rating than Collins.
29 minutes per game. Great move Drew.
We're a losing team, Lets not turn Kirk into another Bibby.

Jeff Teague 22yo 900 minutes 0.080 WS/48

We don't really disagree. I want Teague to get the lion's share of minutes at PG this year. I just think he's a work in progress. He's not an NBA PG right now. He can't run an offense --- yet.
And Joe looks down when he's double-teamed, killing his vision.
As for Hinrich, his vision stinks, too, but my eyes tell me he's a really good defender and a smart player. We could do worse in finding a mentor for Teague.
And that's the point for next year: getting Teague up to snuff. The kid has so much speed, is soooo very good at driving to the basket, is so talented at defense, that he'll be perfect for our athletic team - WHEN he's ready.

I say Teague, Jennings after 2 years in the NBA thinks hes a superstar, I dont like his attitude. Plus why would we pay extra for Jennings when we already have Teague under contract.

After his run against Chicago, Teague needs to start and either make it or break it. Letting him play just when it suits Drew for another year will likely set him back and that's unacceptable. I'd rather they eat Drew's contract than risk the more valuable asset of a PG.

I'm as big a fan of Teague but I'd tale Jennings. I think they have similar ability but Jennings is a year younger and I think confidence(something Teague lacks IMO( is a pretty big factor when it comes to playing PG.

obviously its risky taking teague off such a small sample size, but id roll the dice on him over jennings season long below average play last year

Brandon Jennings absolutely sucks against Derrick Rose!
