Best comparison = Richard Jefferson with more handle

6'8.5

Warrick: 9'0 57% True Shooting(slasher+midrange+transition sf)
Thomas: 8'10 (??)% True Shooting (slasher-midrange+transition+post)
Jefferson: 7'0.5 sf 8'7 (57)% True Shooting(slasher+midrange+transition sf)
Granger: 7'1.5 sg-sf-pf 8'7

Malcolm Thomas: 11th ranked in SF and PFs combined this year behind HOU pick Parsons and Singler.

Do not know how scouts missed this one. RJ at 6'8.5 (billed at 6'7 ala JJ to fit in with guards) couldn't shoot or handle worth a darn and became a hell of a slasher next to Jason Kidd.

Also Jefferson had a similar proportionate build to Josh Smith and thus had a shaky handle.

Malcolm Thomas can handle better

vs R.J.
+ longer more athletic strides and more activity around the rim
+ "Taj Gibson at the 3", Gibson 12% WS
+ ball of energy
+ Josh Smith's reach= blocked shots
+ plays inside out
- uncomfortable playing the stretch 4
+ preceding 6'8.5 w/ 7'2 arms have 0 players below 10% wins shared while on the court, very easy to affect the game

- did he not shoot as a 4 because the shot wasn't there in college?
+ post play= potential high usage player

As a 3 with his length it will be very like Taj Gibson where all he has to do is play hard and he dominates.

Rich Jefferson + Josh Smith

I've already posted the great measurements!
Feel free to post [VIDEOS!!] and discuss RJ and Malcolm limitations. :D

You do realize, he doesn't have a jumper like Granger.

Neither did Richard Jefferson but I'd bring him off the bench as a 6th man.

Yeah, I will take him as an off the bench energy, as i actually do want him, but im not expecting a lot of offense. Joe Alexander needs to be that guy..

Malcolm Thomas is a no brainer. Malcolm Thomas is essentially our draft pick who can become a pure scorer like Richard Jefferson/Hakim Warrick.

Just because Joe shoots a lot does Not mean he's ANY good at it at all at all at all
