What type of S&T scenario do you believe is fair?
He is going to be 29y/o this September and depending on the years he'll most likely want around $50 million. I think Brendan Haywood's contract his similar to what Nene will be seeking.

Lets go get him, sure he will demand some money but with him we take the step.

Could we get him by trading Marvin? Salaries aren't quite a match but they're close. Or do you think they'd be interested in Jamal? Man, it would be great to see him next to Smoove and Horford. It also affords us more flexibility to run bigger by putting Collins or Zaza in with Horford or Nene. We'd be even more athletic and dangerous. He's still not a true C, but he's probably closer to it than Horford.

I'm not terribly interested to be honest. I think he's a solid big man who fits our needs, but would probably cost too much. I see his producitivity already peaked and going (slowly) downhill over the next few seasons.
Unless he could be had through a reasonable S&T I don't see it happening.

Denver would not want anybody except for Horford.

It is impossible to win with trading any ONE PLAYER for another ONE Player. That's the superstar model.
Horford helped ATL win 10.6 games (mostly in small ball format) we need multiple bigs.
Nene won 9.8 games iirc. This "superstar" model will never work. we need fouls and lane clogging defense from the 5 position.
We don't need to trade 1 PF/C tweener (Horford) for another one (Nene).
We need above average players on both sides that can step up in the playoffs. We need to get a trade, STATs/ Wins Shared thread going.
