The NBL Draft will be held on Sunday August 21st, 2011 at the Rogers Centre Toronto, Canada.

NBL COMBINE INFO

All players entering the NBL Canada Draft 2011 must attend the pre-draft combine, taking place on Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21, 2011.

Upon arriving to the pre-draft combine, players must provide the following items to NBL Canada personnel at the official registration table:

* Valid identification
* A biography and/or CV with an attached photograph
* Photographs must be recent and in colour for photo quality and identification purposes
* A highlight DVD or game tape. Please include any special viewing instructions if necessary.

Please note that all items submitted to the league upon arrival may be kept on file for future reference and will not be returned.

Coaches and General Managers from all NBL Canada teams will be attending the combine to scout talent in preparation for the draft. The combine events on August 20 and 21 will be open to the public.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Please note that the pre-draft combine taking place on Saturday, August 20 is for free agent players of any nationality, and the pre-draft combine taking place on Sunday, August 21 is for Canadian players only. Players must attend the full day of events at their designated combine to qualify for the draft.

Players selected from the pre-draft combine will be invited to attend the NBL Canada Draft 2011, on Sunday, August 21 at 7:00 pm.
Saturday August 20, 2011 (Free agent players only)

Location: Sports Centre gymnasium at Seneca College
8:00 – 9:00 am: Player check-in
10:00 – 11:00 am: Player measurement and warm up
11:00 – Noon: Skill drill stations
Noon – 5:00 pm: Live competition
Sunday, August 21, 2011 (Canadian players only)

Location: Sports Centre gymnasium at Seneca College
8:00 – 9:00 am: Player check-in
10:00 – 11:00 am: Player measurement and warm up
11:00 – Noon: Skill drill stations
Noon – 5:00 pm: Live competition

7:00 pm: NBL Canada Draft
Location: Rogers Centre

HOW TO REGISTER:

Players may register for the 2011 NBL Canada combine and draft by visiting the following link:

All players are required to pre-register in order to participate. There will be no same day registration. Space is limited.

If submitted and paid prior to July 31, 2011, the registration fee for free agent players attending the combine is $150.00 CAN. If submitted after July 31, the registration fee for free agent players attending the combine will be $185.00 CAN.

If submitted and paid prior to July 31, 2011, the registration fee for Canadian players attending the combine is $100.00 CAN. If submitted after July 31, the registration fee for Canadian players attending the combine will be $135.00 CAN.

Players attending the both the combine and draft are responsible for their own travel, transportation, hotel, and meals. A discounted hotel arrangement has been made with the Seneca Residence & Conference Centre at the rate of $69.95 per night plus applicable taxes for a two room suite.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Seneca College. Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-225-8664. Be sure reference “National Basketball League of Canada Combine” to receive the discounted rate.
