Any trades we should explore, ideal SF would be Smith's size but be able to have effective range outside the short corner.

ie a Danny Granger-type? Anyone you guys think we should explore?

Nope. None I can think of. Melo would have been useful.

Philly , Minny , Denver got some SF...

For Philly, offer Smith for that center from USC and a 2012 pick

Thinking outside the box. Expand the search to 2 guards and possibly pair with a pick to equal out value. If Joe Johnson is considered untradable (although I can think of 5 possible spots to get out of the contract, but each is money move) then he might need to transition to SF in 2 or 3 years to maximize his productivity as he loses a step or two. If you consider Al the keeper at PF, then SG, C and possibly PG are the positions of need (depending on your opinion of Jeff Teague long term).

Having expanded to include 2 guards as well I still have nothing.

BTW IMO, it makes little sense to trade Josh Smith for financial reasons. His contract is up in 2 years anyway. You only trade him if you have a great offer or you realize he's going to walk for nothing at the end of his deal. The only way you get savings from him is to send him to a team with tons of cap room for picks because any players you take back would occupy the same cap area as he would have (meaning you wouldn't be able to sign them long term either) and deprive you of two years of one of your best players.
