Iverson gets a highlight....in an 'ATL' red jersey.

Would you be surprised if he actually made it to our roster?

Re: A quick Iverson vs. Jeff Teague clip
I never appreciated the last generation of shooting guards until they got "old", Iverson included.
"Would you be surprised if he actually made it to our roster?"
What kind of question is that? Who would he have to beat out? Qyntel Joe Alexander and Omar Samhan.
Damien?
That being said:
- As is Hawks need a frontcourt shooter that would increase the window to win
- This roster is a reflection of management. It is not a cohesive unit and no one would be surprised. If Allen Iverson "made" the dysfunctional roster for a media stunt, was hailed as a savior and fell flat on his face.
Maybe he'd sell tickets, maybe he'd get in Teague's way, maybe his defense has gotten worse as hes gotten older hed want to start shifting Teague and JJ to SG and SF and he would not want to come off the bench for ATL
Maybe ATL is a perennial 1st-2nd round team etc etc

I'd like to see Iverson have another chance, but only if he's sincere about playing, and is open minded about any role that could possibly happen. Age is a factor, but he's still capable of making an impact, so we'll see if any team is willing to give him an opportunity.

Re: A quick Iverson vs. Jeff Teague clip
I don't mind Iverson having another shot (especially if he were to reinvent himself as a Vinnie Johnson microwave off the bench scorer), but I really don't want it to be here. Don't think his playing style matches the personnel and don't think he has enough left in the tank to play his style without change (which I doubt he's willing to do).
