If Chris Paul is traded, i would imagine that the Hornets wouldn't care too much if Okafor stayed or left, and might agree to swapping him for an expiring contract.

Teams rarely deal bigs for smalls. I understand you are using Kirk as an expiring contract in these suggestions, but I think you are really undervaluing the bigs you propose.
