Trade No. 1 (between ATL, New Orleans, & Denver)
Hornets get:
Jeff Teague
Josh Smith
Kosta Koufos

Hawks get:
Chris Paul
Al Harrington
Quincy Pondexter

Nuggets get:
Marvin Williams

WHY IT COULD WORK FOR THE HAWKS:
A "Big 3" of Paul, JJ, and Horford is pretty damn good and would ensure the Hawks can stay in the hunt beside teams like Chicago, Miami, and NY.

Trade No.2 (between ATL & Oklahoma City)
Hawks get:
Nazr Mohammed
Nate Robinson

Thunder get:
Kirk Hinrich

WHY IT COULD WORK FOR THE HAWKS:
They get a good bench spark plug in Robinson and a starting 5 in Mohammed.

FREE AGENCY:
Sign TayShaun Prince - 3 years/21 million (using mid-level exception)
why?
Prince would be a great compliment to JJ on the perimeter since he is a good defender and would be tasked with guarding the opposing team's best perimeter play, opening up JJ to focus on putting points on the board.

Sign DJ Mbenga - 1 year/vet minimum
why?
Gives Hawks some shot-blocking in the middle.

Sign Marquis Daniels - 1 year/vet minimum
why?
Could be a good backup 2G for JJ.

NEW HAWKS ROSTER:
PG-Chris Paul/Nate Robinson
SG-Joe Johnson/Marquis Daniels
SF-TayShaun Prince/Tracy McGrady/Quincy Pondexter/Pape Sy
PF-Al Horford/Al Harrington
C-Nazr Mohammed/Zaza Pachulia/DJ Mbenga

We apparenntly have the corpse of Tracy McGrady now. We get him a decade too late :(

PG-Chris Paul/ 26% usage
SG-Joe Johnson/26% usage
SF-TayShaun Prince/
PF-Al Horford/
C-Nazr Mohammed/

yuck-to-the-5th-power. Where is the 3rd option? Tayshaun Prince only won a title as a 16% usage 4th option. And he is a decade older now. How the heck does this work?

Im still with making Smith the top SF rebounder in the NBA, adding a PF-wing scorer, and an elite center. But thats just me and my own dark beautiful twisted fantasy. sigh :)

Ruhiel doesn't want anyone on the Hawks that is older than 29. I wonder how he would feel if the Hawks could try for Kobe?

The current team is not a contender either.

Is that team good enough to convince Paul to stay? Whats their window? Because CP's not coming extended because of budget rosters like this.

Im asking who's going to carry that offense.

who is going to carry that team??????? what about Chris Paul. and Joe is no slouch. and didn't you not see T-mac coming of the bench he is easily a better scorer than Marvin Williamsm, hell he may be the 2nd best scorer on the team. not to mention Nate can light it up as well. now, I am wondering where the defense will be coming from but that team has plenty of offense.
