Orlando is expected to ask the Lakers for both Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol in return to Dwight Howard.

Following the complete breakdown of Chris Paul trade talks, the Lakers are expected to focus on Howard.

The Nets are prepared to send Brook Lopez and two first round picks while also taking back the contract of Hedo Turkoglu.

2 for 1 eh. It looks like Magic figure that if you take Dwight he can only be "1 Tower" rebounding and playing defense. They're trying to transfer their problems to any team that signs him, well at least in this case.

First time Ive seen this 'Twin Towers' trade. I thought theyd rather rebuild but now it looks like Otis wants the to contend. Who knew?

Bulls Expect Hamilton To Make Easy Transition
Dec 16, 2011 10:29 AM EST

Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau was impressed by how fit Hamilton appeared in practice and how quickly he was learning his schemes.

"He fits in with our team because of the fact that he's unselfish and he requires you to put two on the ball," Thibodeau said. "Most teams are going to trap him on the catch-and-shoot plays and he'll hit the open man. So it gives us something else we can go to. I like his size at that position, that can help us, and his experience goes a long way."

I think thats a bad trade for orlando . Bynum is often injured and while pau is talented he's got a huge contract and not enough to make the magic contenders . I think the magic would be smart to do the new jersey trade and rebuild .

eh, you can't really build around either guy.

Pau is 32 and Bynum's knees are not going to get any better the older he gets.

Pau and Andrew have both already peeked. right now, they are both decent, but they are going to get really bad in 2 years.

A Pau and Bynum front court just keeps the Magic mediocre, and gets the Magic out of the race for Drummond, Davis, or Lamb.

Report: Lakers Unwilling To Part With Both Gasol, Bynum For Howard
Dec 11, 2011 8:00 PM EST

The Lakers have seemingly stepped up their efforts to acquire Dwight Howard by dealing Lamar Odom to the Mavericks for an $8.9 million trade exception and a future protected draft pick.

While there’s been plenty of talk lately about the Lakers being the favorites to land Howard, indications are that they remain unwilling to part with both Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum.

Trading Gasol and Bynum would empty the Lakers' enviable frontcourt depth.
