Player Outlook: Jerry Stackhouse

What do you expect from Jerry Stackhouse? What is a acceptable contribution from Stack?

Stack is a old vet. He has been a superstar or borderline one just like T-Mac. Once again, IMO the Hawks are duplicating things with Stack. It is nice to have powerful voices in the locker-room but at some point you have to think if you need this many voices in the locker-room, this many captains, then the guys simply are too undisciplined. You don't need this many chiefs. If Stack gives you something valuable that a young guy can't give you on the court, fine other than that I don't see the need. Collins, T-Mac, Joe, LD, Hinrich if he comes back should be enough 30+ guys with stuff to say.

Veteran leadership is all I expect.

I doubt he plays much.

Stack's jumpers looked good at the open workout

Stack looked terrible. He was continuously getting beat tonight.

We won't be in good shape with him on the court. I think it's best to keep him around as a locker room presence if anything. He could possibly help improve the chemistry of the team as long as he's content with his role (which he probably is).

He had a good pass tonite, but I don't like what I see out of he or Stack.

Bogans as a defensive specialist would make much more sense. There is no way that this team can carry Stack and T Mac together...

Stack can sing the National Anthem every 5th home game. Hear he has a good voice.

The fact that he is still on the team shows that there is too much politicing going on here
