Atl takes adavantage of two struggling teams:

ATL sends Marvin Williams, Sloan and Willie Green + PHO 2nd to Dallas, Horford and Hinrich + 12 1st to ORL
ATL receives D12 (resigned), Turk and Beaubois

ATL signs the C that they needed without depleating the front court (Al/ Marvin only)

DAL sends Lamar Odom + 2nd to ORL and Rodrigue Beaubois to ATL
DAL receives Marvin, Green, Sloan and PHO 2nd
DAL gets younger, cheaper and rids of a promising talent plagued by injury

ORL sends D12 (resigned) and Turk to ATL
ORL receives Odom, Horford, Hinrich, ATL 1st and DAL 2nd
ORL gets rid of Turk as they already have used the amesty on Gilbert

ATL:
JT- Pargo- Beaubois
JJ- T Mac- Stack
Turk- Radma- Smoothe
Smoothe- Radma- Johnson
D12- Zaza- Collins

next year, ATL uses amisty on Turk 22M and sign a decent SF

I have no problems with trade ideas but most of you people every trade you type about is to get some superstar. That is the mentality that shows why there are few people that participate on this board positively as far as game threads and as far as game attendance. I prefer reality over fantasy. I could care less about Dwight, Chris Paul, on and on unless we are giving up non core players. I like the Hawks we have and think we can get a Center without throwing away core guys

I don't think can we amnesty players we traded for and even if we could I'd still save it for Joe in 3 years because I believe that in 3 years Joe's deal will be even worse then what Hedo's deal is now; also I like the trades with Orlando for us but Marvin in the Market has negative value but from what I've seen so far he will be valubal for us so I'd hesitate giving away Marvin (Man that felt weird to say) because I believe Marvin will become a valubal asset for us. (Another wierd statement.)

Coaches and scouts on other teams are picking up on this. Even Thobodeaux mentioned last year that Marvin was offering good match ups defensively (remembering the job he did on Pierce...or even Lebron).
Anyway, you do not want to trade Marvin when his value slump again or when he is confirming that he belongs as a stater (which I firmly beleive, giving regular PT). He is regaining + value, now is the time to cash in.

I think the team needs a backup center, not a starter one like most of people say. Horford-Williams-Smith-Jonhson-Point Guard is a really strong starting lineup. I don't get why Horford is not considered a Center. He has been All-Star playing at the center spot, so why not looking for something else? His size is not what you would desire against D12 or Bynum but teams have to be built according the team itself, not according rivals.

Jeff Teague is the Point Guard.

I know, just illustrating the difference of quality between Teague and the rest of the lineup. Teague is good, young and has potential, but not every player that stands out a little is going to be superb. Also suggesting the team would need more a solid point guard than a center. Atlanta has never got a really good point guard, I think he best one was the Jason Terry of those years.

I agree horford has done a good job at center , but during the playoffs when the games are so physical the hawks need more size .
