What happened last game:
Atlanta: Image Hawks 84 - Rockets 95
Miami: Image Heat 129 - Bobcats 90
Key to the game: Zone defense: The Hawks have to play zone to win this game, we don't the defensive talent to play lebron or Wade man to man; Boston's use of zone helped them almost pull off a 20 pt comeback against the heat earlier this season.

Lebron you are still not a role model

Also does anyone else think Charles Barkley is making fun of Lebron in this commercial?
Lol sorry about the length of the thread guys, I got a little carried away.

Our record when you make these fancy threads is not good. Another loss likely coming, kinda like free throws you need to give it up to the next person after 2morrow if we lose. :D

Nice game thread.

Miami is favored to win by 10 points.

Games after a loss are always good indicators for what to expect from the team's preparation. Do they come out flat and disinterested or do they come out crisp and with energy are the things to look for.

I'm looking at individual matchups and I see a loss. But this should be indicative of what to expect going forward. This game could establish Hawks confidence against upper echelon teams.

I'm optimistic but looking at individual matchups and I see a loss. I'm still banging the stretch 4 + Smith + center drum. Seeing Smith killing his value, yet again...

Horford or Marvin has to step up.

James was actually imitating Charles original "I'm not a role model" commercial from back in the 90s so Barkley is actually reprising his role rather than taking a direct shot at James who was taking a direct shot him.......That sentence made me scratch my own head.

I have zero confidence on this team winnig tonight.
Miami is in a good run and we just beat really bad teams which have won (between the two) 1 game out of 9 and are among the worst of the L. Especially the Nets, one of the weakiest rosters I have seen in years.

Also Miami has its best players just at the same positions that we have ours. In order to win, Zaza and Horford should really abuse inside (Anthony and Haslem are clearly inferior phisycal players), but for that to happen, we should pass inside for the first time this season.

I know I am being tough on the team, but right now they are far better in terms of talent, and also far better coached, which could be a question against other teams, but not against us.

Miami +20 (if they want to).

I have some confidence tonight, the Hawks right now are ranked number 1 on defensive that's pretty impressive, we did play some weak teams but we shut down Deron twice and John Wall. I think we can pull this one out.

Miami teased me in games against Charlotte and Minnesota. Maybe they'll give the Hawks a similar chance.

The one are we won't be able to keep up with Miami in is free throw attempts. Coach Drew needs to make sure his players do what they can to get to the line and we must make our free throws.

This is unbelievable, not even 4 mins passed and I already can't watch, the Hawks are treating Lebron like some sort of God their just backing away from him and giving him easy shots. And man why is Josh taking these jump shots???

Just a minor complaint. Sports South seems to have the score at the bottom of the screen a bit high. It's kind of distracting. Maybe it's just me.

impressive way to close the half. I still expect these hawks to fold when they get down to a team like the heat - really pleasing to see them fighting it out and playing with confidence. We'll still probably loose, but good to see a competitive game.
