Well, this has been a nagging crime scene for the Hawks. This is where Joe came from and even though the initial deal that saw us get Joe was not bad, it did bring about a lot of turmoil within the organization that led to us being exposed as a uncoordinated organization. Owners suing each other and other clown chit. Then last year this was the scene in which we were robbed of essentially 2 1st rd picks for Kirk Hinrich.

Well let's just hope we don't get robbed tonight. I think we lose but hopefully there will be a spirited fight and one in which we are not robbed of our spirit.

LOL.... that is pretty funny "Back to Scene of Crime." even though I am still glad we have Joe, I do wish we would get a center. and that Kirk trade was a good one for the Hawks...... How is Jordan Crawford looking now?

Kirk trade was horrible. We gave up 2 1st rd picks for a guy whom we are 15-20 in regular season games with.

don't Harp on the first round picks because one of them was Jordan Crawford and I would rather have Kirk over Jordan. Now the other first round pick we gave up did actually hurt a little bit because we could have had Donatas Motiejunas.... but the trade was a good trade at the time because Teague was not going to get any playing time and all we had was Bibby and Kirk was a huge upgrade at the point over Bibby. to add we still may move Kirk at the trade deadline and acquire a starting center...... Kaman (plz..... pretty plz) if that is the case that kirk trade will look even better for the hawks.

Kirk is not bringing back any starting Center by himself. We will end up giving up picks and a player along with Kirk if it is even possible and that will hurt even more. It is not harping it is stating the truth. The team is 15-20 in regular season games with Kirk in the lineup, but he is worthy of bringing back a starting C? He proved that he could not help the Wiz nor the Hawks in the win column but he has value to bring back a starting C. His value is in his expiring and maybe a role for a team that is one piece away. Most times people want expirings to get rid of contracts. Gave up too much. If it was Kirk for Bibby fine anything else was too much.

Superiorblogman, come on dude. Bibby was not worth Kirk at the time of the trade. Kirk was/is still a starting calibre point gaurd. Bibby was/is not. when Kirk first came to the team he had to develop chemistry with the guys that takes time. but he was one of the main reasons we beat the Magic in the playoffs. so what are you saying? did we give up to much..... maybe but I was glad they made a move and showed they had a pulse. I am still glad they made that move. and hope they make another one this year.

IK the Joe contract is absurd and shouldn't have been offered but you can't blame PHX for that; all they did was trade him to us and get robbed, they traded a young Joe for Diaw and a couple of 1st's

No matter what you think of Teague it only gets worse when he leaves the game and Kirk was on a losing team and Bibby was on a winning team. Kirk was not doing anything that affected wins and the same remains now. So, yes Bibby was worth Kirk considering Kirk contract was worse.

I don't care if Josh is hitting those 3s, I don't care that he's our leading rebounder, I don't care that he's our leading scorer, I want to strangle him for refusing to throw an outlet pass. PHO is failing right now, yet each time Josh rebounds, he dribbles aimlessly up the court. It's as if he is trying to make a point. All he's doing is squandering our opportunities while PHO is struggling.

Able to watch now. I see Joe Johnson has been a no show.

Worse than that, Joe's been a conscientious objector.

Josh Smith: 29, 15, 7

Outstanding!

Apparently, it's Drew's wish that Josh take the ball down court ever time he gets a rebound. We're winning, yeah, but only because there are only 2 good players on the PHO team.

What happened? How did PHX just score 3 points?

Sorry, not buying. His competition stinks. Zaza's shielding Gortat off of the rebounds, leaving Josh against ... not much.

Josh Smith could drop 60 points on 20/20 shooting get 30 boards and 20 assist.

And the game thread would still be full of you bitching NON STOP about josh smith.

Smith was a beast tonight

Did Alvin Gentry just cost his team the game? If he hadn't caught it, wouldn't it have been out on us?

Talking miliseconds on that one.

I like Volume scoring Josh better than I like volume scoring Joe, seriously Grant Hill punked him on both ends.

A lot of props to Mean/Fast Willie, he was Josh's only other running mate tonight and was damn near automatic from the corner.
