Hawks at Bulls: Game Thread

Post#1 » by Superiorblogman » Mon Feb 20, 2012 5:31 pm

2 more to go before the midway point and all-star game. Derrick Rose will probably be back today. Not because he is feeling so much better but because he wants to play in the all-star game and it would look bad if he came back next game which is directly the game before the break. Funny how these type of guys are so fake with there images that anyone can see through it, but you will have to listen to 2.5 hours of how great of a person and player he is.

The Bulls are favored to win this one by 10 points.

That's a very poor assessment on your part.

Bulls GM Gar Forman said he is optimistic that Derrick Rose (back) will play against the Hawks Monday. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/story/_/ ... anta-hawks

Sure he will and so will Carmelo. They can't make it so obvious by coming back the game directly before the all-star break.

If Rose plays today, i think the Hawks will curse to another easy win against Chicago.

If Rose doesn't play, i can imagine the Hawks not taking this seriously and loosing focus and seeing the Hawks letting the Bulls play better than they really are and loosing this one.

+1. A game against a conference rival is a lot more important than the All-Star game, in which he always plays with minimal energy and has also stated how he considers it somewhat meaningless ('cause players don't fight or care about the outcome).

I hate to come here and mention this and will not continue argueing anyhow, but like jc23 said - what you said is completely random.

Random and wrong. The guy has been chomping at the bit to get in the game for quite a while now.

If Williams is not playing, Josh Smith still stays at PF or goes to SF so Radmanovic can play PF?

I don't understand Drews substitution patterns. He pulls the guy that 2/2 from the field 4 minutes into the game so you can puyt in the guy that can't hit the broad side of a barn right now. Not what we needed.

Pargo isn't great or anything but I think the chemstry he, willie, tracy and vlad had earlier in the year was key to our wins. Then Drew switched it all up because Ivan Johnson had a good game and Kirk Hirnch came back and our bench has been incosistant every since.

:censored: Larry Drew: We get off to a good start then Chicago gets on a 9-0 run, Drew doesn't call a timeout during the run, then he makes 0 adjustments on offense or defense. He is the worst coach in all of sports, we'd be better if the players were coaching themselves

Wow, Drew is stupid. He doesn't put TMac in at all in the first quarter.

Thibs calls a timeout and makes adjustments. Drew doesn't do anything, i guess Drew doesn't believe in making adjustments.

Bulls just got like 6 offensive boards on a single play. Goddamn.

I hate all these unfair calls Rose is getting. The NBA is by far the most unfair sport when it comes to officiating

Neither, apparently, did the Atlanta Hawks.

I still need someone to explain to me how you start off strong, the Bulls score a couple of times so you make a subtiution and that leads to the Bulls going on a big run, and in response you do nothing.

We're kind of a frontrunning team, don't really have a lot of resiliency.
