ATL vs OKC

Post#1 » by Ruhiel » Sun Mar 4, 2012 12:10 am

LD wants to lower the volume of shots OKC has by moving the ball. Sounds like Wilt 100.

Westbrook vs Teague
Cook vs Hinrich
Marvin vs Durant (I expect Marvin to bring his A game; get a dunk on KD?)
Josh vs Ibaka (Josh brings his A-game vs Ibaka - lots of transition; halfcourt performance?
Pachulia vs Perkins (Zaza hopefully makes his shots count; hope we dont overrely on Zaza)

* Harden comes off the bench
----
*Ibaka starts with a travel
*Westbrook posts up Teague
* Josh starts with an Iso post and cant see over Ibaka. Air ball left hook

* we're getting transition opportunities off of turnovers early like always but
* we're milking Zaza in halfcourt

Marvin passed to Zaza.

Iso Josh vs Ibaka: hit or miss. Overclocking Josh and no ball movement ala Dwight vs Jason Collins.

Iso Josh miss vs Ibaka = offensive board and layin by Marvin!

Josh may only be 2 for 6 but it's good to see him trying to get to the rim and not settling for jumpshots.

T-Mac hurt, that's the last thing we need right now, at least we'll have 3 days before our next game after tonight

4 BS free throws they shouldn't have gotten, yet Stack gets crushed and doesn't get **** called for him. We all knew the Thunder were eventually gonna get this special treatment

Marvin Williams was shutting down Durant until the refs put a end to that. Marvin, again, showing that he is at worse our second best perimeter defender(and thats only when Joe feels motivated.)

Iso Josh on the left block: Goes left spins back to Right Hand hook shot

then I missed while typing, Iso Josh = bailout jumper (Ibaka played him left hand?)

Iso Josh vs Collison = steal = Durant makes a 3pt play (Marvin drew charge but refs screwed him)

Josh hunting elbow jumpers now

Ibaka dunk over Josh

reverse PnR with Kirk = leaves Josh at elbow, Josh fakes the jumper, Ibaka closes out too far, josh drive right and drop step left for a 2 hand layup.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
