I'm trying to spread word about Joseph Kony, a heartless rebel leader who kidnaps children, makes them kill their parents and makes the girls into sex slaves, we have to bring him to justice in 2012. The video will explain everything.

im all for sending in troops to countries that don't have oil, but i don't think those tea baggers are smart enough or christian enough to do anything.

But forreal this is a very serious matter, what Joseph Kony is doing is not only soulless but it's also spreading to other countries in Africa, as the video says we have to put the pressure on this year or it's gonna be too late.

You ARE aware that child soldiers have been used in just about every Africans conflict in the past two decades, right? Well before Kony even rose to power? Honestly, the video is just a giant ploy to guilt trip Americans into giving money to a shady organization that in the end won't do anything to even address the problem they're supposedly solving for.

So because this happens other places, we should stop no one responsible? What is the theory behind this? don't help anyone until you can help everyone.

I can post that i went to Uganda and talked to people and they all said IC helps tremendously. I also will provide no backup to this. Will this make it fact?

What we know as a fact is that last year nearly 3 million dollars went to this cause. For the people crying about it being "only" 32%, when part of the money is used for travel (over a million for multiple trips to Uganda) and over a million to produce the video that has over 65 million views worldwide now and unarguably has brought attention to the issue, and money for salaries (not for profit doesn't mean everyone working there are unpaid volenteers...people that work for the Red Cross get paid too you know) 32% is about right. (The red cross, for example is around 85 percent, but they also bring in 3+ billion dollars a year, not 8million).

Call it shady all you want, the financials are public and "its happening somewhere else" is a cowards excuse for downing an organization. When those travel's are to Cancun and those salaries are in the millions, talk to me about it being a rip off. Attention was brought to a problem and it seems like so many people are just lineing up to complain about it.

i don't think American are the ones to help, especially the Americans in the farm states in the middle of country because they don't want.
