Joe working it inside. He never gets the call on initial drive but he often gets his own misses and can get fouled the 2nd time.

Could not get to the TV but I see that Josh is 3-15 with 11 shots from outside. Regression-time.

I'm only getting to see the final 3:30 of the game but I just loved Nique's giggle when Ivan powered 3 players out of his way - 2 of them our own guys - to get a rebound.
"9 to 5!"

Teague actually has a midrange jumper. He needs to mix it in with the floaters. I would not mine him ditching the floaters. The midranger looked good tonight. Kirk is coming around. We beat bad teams almost everytime. Nothing new hear. Bring on 2morrow.

I passed out watching the game. Joe Johnson was amazing from what I saw, 3 for 3 from 3-point, and the refs need to give him more calls (smh).
I really like Alonzo Gee for Cleveland. I've been following him most of the year and the young man is very talented.

I wouldn't say entirely abandon the floaters but yes I agree he needs more freedom from the outside. I think he's also over 40% on 3s

not really a game worth commenting on. its just a good team beating a bad team.
too bad Josh couldn't get his triple double, but oh well, its more important that he rest.
great to see Teague dominate all the other young PGs in the NBA, Wall a few days ago and Irving now.

How did Teague dominate Irving? or Wall for that matter? He got outplayed by both of them.

Wrong and way off base. Those guys are asked to be everything Teague is asked to play his role. They played there roles of everything worse than he did his role of getting the ball to Joe and Josh playing off them and staying solid defensively. 5 steals against the Wiz and good numbers across the board. 18 pts and Joe going off against Cleveland. Not even close he did his job better than they did.

Teague's job is to be less important than Irving/Wall, therefore he was better at his job? rofl, the homer logic is astounding.
I was quoting the guy who said Teague dominated, when he clearly didn't. He had a couple decent games, but he didn't come close to dominating anyone.

Even though the Hawks were missing several players from injury they were still favored. I think the comment was legit.

After an ugly start the Hawks are finally getting it together and have the lead. Josh Smith and ZaZa are providing the offense. Joe Johnson is doing a nice job getting to the line.

So this is the game thread for tonight's game, as well? Good idea.
Hawks called a pretty play for Joe: he ran around several picks through the lane from left to right to receive the ball on the right. Easy jumper. This is his game. He can hit those all day long.

Of course, we haven't run another such play for Joe since....

I noticed one was never created so I just went with this one since the game was already going.

Josh is missing good shots. He's shot 8 from outside but 16 inside. That's a great ratio. Problem is, he just can hit - even the easiest shots. One of those nights.
Joe's had a few tough shots but, for the most part, he's missing open shots.
Refs don't seem to care about fair calls - all they want is an equal number of FTs.

43 seconds to go, we'd BETTER go for 2 shots here.
And if I'm right about the refs, we're down 4 FTs, so we're due for some calls.

5.4 and the Cavs are up by 3.
