I was at the game last night to review Philips Arena for my site. I was all around very impressed with the venue. Only one thing I would change. I wanted to post yesterday, but i hadn't been approved yet. I have an idea of what to put in my things to do around Philips arena and places to eat, but its always good to get a locals point of view.
Feel free to post any suggestion.
Thanks!

There is the CNN center to eat before the game. So ti has places like Taco Mac, Dantannas, and a couple of other places in the CNN Center atrium.
In terms of things to do, not sure what exactly you mean. If a family wanted to make a day of it there is the World of Coke and the Aquarium which are all in walking distance as is Centennial Olympic Park.

Did you happen to go to any of the clubs/bars under the club seats? It's nothing but a party but it's invite only. It holds a great deal of people and stretches the length of the club seats except for some bathrooms in the middle. Some people have no idea those exist.

I did see them, but I wasnt able to get over there. Overall I loved that whole side of the arena. Very different from most arenas.

Love the Centennial park area. Overall the arena is in a pretty good location. The CNN center is nice for people who need a quick bite to eat. On Taco Mac do you have to be in the arena to get to it or does it have access from outside the arena?
Thanks!
