Kind of worried

Post#1 » by SAUCERY_SWEET » Sat Mar 31, 2012 4:21 pm

Why has the posting of topics all of a sudden come to a complete stop?? I was concerned, no thread on the Knicks game either. :o

Agreed. The Hawks channel has always been one of the least visited, lower posted bulletin boards.

But lately things have been eerily quiet, especially with the playoffs quickly approaching. Couple of theories:

Also, there been an increased amount of insulting and antagonism here, too. Makes it difficult to have true, constructive debates with other Hawks fans.

Sadly, the new moderator will probably shut this topic down shortly...

Mods? There aren't mods here. Funny thing about most of the regulars here who get waived is because they go on to other boards thinking that they can get away with what they do here.

Game threads should be a group effort. People that have created them put time in them at times and when only a few people post in them it discourages them from creating them. Even if we just have a title that says "NY @ Atlanta" that's all that matters.

Anyone that causes problems on this board has been spoken to via pm. If anyone has concerns or questions you can always contact me via pm.

This board is far from being the most active, but it's not even close to be the least active, and I think the majority of the posters here tend to wait for threads to be created. If anyone has an idea about the team or wants to discuss a topic that's not already on the board...create a topic by all means.

uga_dawgs24 has done a fine job. It was his idea to sticky the trade and draft threads and those have been active. Any thread I sticky seems to not gain much interest (Around The NBA).

MaceCase, by all means contact me if you have any concerns. You have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. For instance "tontoz" jumped ship to Washington. He supported both Washington and Atlanta, but he seems to only post on the Washington board now. Harry10 is the only Atlanta fan that I know of that has been banned, and rightfully so, because he continued to go on the General NBA board acting like a 12 y/o.

My azz had no internet connection. Y'all were busy visiting other boards!
Sadly, I missed the Knicks win because I have a pessimistic view on this Philly game.
