Hawks are favored to win this one by 9.5 points.
Atlanta has won the previous six meetings.

Given the number of DLeaguers the next two should be excellent win pads.

Sadly the Hawks seem to have come into this game with that attitude of a gimme and things have a funny way of biting you squarely in the @#$& when you think that way. Bring it on in.

Devastating loss to Toronto's tank. I was rooting for Atlanta all the way.

^ im okay with this because the Pacers beat the Bucks yesterday. i would rather face the Pacers in the first round rather than the Celtics, and the Magic just beat the Cavs today.

Hawks vs Boston will be your 1st rd matchup that game Friday will be for homecourt.
What a horrible time to have your worse game of the year. This loss is on Teague. If he had of came out and set the tone like he did against Detroit and Charlotte it would have definitely been a win.

even with the win, their is no way the Hawks are going to get home court, because the Celtics are going to win their division

If the Hawks have a better record than the Celts they get homecourt in the 4 vs 5 matchup. That has already been clarified.

wrong...
"
Teams 1 to 4 in each conference are the three division winners and the team with the next best regular-season record, with the seeding of these four teams determined by regular-season record."

Boston is guaranteed a top 4 seed by being a division winner but not homecourt.....
If the Magic finish 5th with a better record than 4th seed Boston then they get homecourt.
Same for the Hawks...
All the division title ensures is that they don't have to face another division winner in the first round.
MC did a whole blogpost on it.

Wow, just ... wow.
Sometimes, this team lays down for the most obscure reasons. Did Joe try to draw on an inside straight?

Mental breakdown indeed. If the Hawks lose the next few games, they would face the Pacers in the first round. Indiana is beatable in a 7-game series but if the Hawks show up with this kind of mentality, it's an early exit for them.

Lost really does not mean anything if we win out. We have one game left on the road 2morrow. Win that and you are over .500 for season on the road. Win all 6 and you are atleast the 5th seed because you have to beat Boston to win all 6 and if that happens they can't catch us.

I can't stand this team when they do something like that.
It was one of the few games they should come in with a contender mentality, and what are they doing ? loosing against a team that has no interest at winning.
It's simply unbelievable, to a point that I really search for the first time how is that possible, and what they can get by playing these kind of game like that : the only reason they would have interest to do that is that they all bet lots of money on their loss, especially when ATL was said to win by 9.5
