Hawks vs Knicks Sunday 4-22-12 Nationally Televised

Post#1 » by Superiorblogman » Sun Apr 22, 2012 3:15 pm

I don't know how much effort will be put into this one, but it does have meaning. If we win this one then Boston must win there last 2 in order to get homecourt against us in the 1st rd. So, the thought should be get this one and put pressure on Boston to win there next 2.

Win this and then the team can rest for the week having the 5th seed and HCA locked. The Celtics didn't go all out against us so it's doubtful that they play to win against their last two opponents.

Stoudemire sliding over to the center position and Landry Fields into the starting lineup
Mike Woodson said Tyson Chandler won't play today. Landry starts. Amare plays 5.

#Hawks will go with a different starting lineup this afternoon — Teague, Hinrich, JJ, Marvin and J-Smoove.

Why does Larry Drew always put the entire bench in for a good period of time? Lead just quickly went from 7 to 2 because of that...it's stupid.

We easily have the dumbest team in the NBA. It's not even close.

I thought we'd beat the Knicks without Chandler. But Stoudemire is coming alive and locking up Josh Smith on the other end.

He certainly didn't show any defense giving up that wide open 3 on the other end.

Can someone explain to me why Hinrich is in the game?

You have to give the ball to Teague here. There is literally no other option on the court.

Well at least they got to advance the ball. Marvin got fouled but you aren't going to get that call at that point in the game. Good game.

Teague was not guarding Carmelo and it was not a switch situation. Carmelo just came down the floor and was wide open because Marvin nor Joe was close to the man they were assigned to.

that's bullsh*t..you dont think superstars will get that foul call? If that was Kobe or Wade they'd be at the line every time. I hate how the NBA adjusts the crunch time rules ..Just call the game evenly throughout.

This was Marvelous's game but, in the end, what do we say to him? "Stand over there out of the way and let Josh force 4 or 5 bad shots."

With better thinking, we'd have won that game.

Worst part was listening to that Knick-homer woman announcing the game. Whenever the Knicks had the ball, it was, "Where's the foul?" and when we had it, "THAT was not a foul!"
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

The light on the backboard went on before the dunk attempt. But many can argue that Marvin was fouled before the dunk attempt.

Only if your name is LeBron or Wade will you get that call.

Good game, Beat Boston.
