By the way, Joe for Tyreke does not work on the trade machine because his contract is too big.

Best way to secure a lotto pick is through trading Josh. Not so sure any of those guys are worth Josh but not so sure we re-sign Josh and get any better or re-sign him at all.

I like the idea you put forward, but I'm not sure the Kings would want to pair Cousins with Josh.

Lead the league in scowls made? They would love Josh though because they do want an athletic defensive big next to Cousins. The only thing is they'd probably have us swap Marv with Salmons also if they are giving up their pick.

Edit just checked, I thought they'd try to shave years off Salmons deal but his contract is only unguaranteed for an extra year.

But, they have a backup center I'd ask to be included. Jason Thompson is a pretty productive player at 6'11". he starts occasionally at PF next to Cousins, but he's a natural center. He has a few games that look/sound with J-Smoove-like production.

He could easily be our starting center next to Horford and ould give us depth, toughness, rebounding.

His last game he recorded 14 points, 11 rebs, 7 assists, 5 steals and a block on 75% shooting. Granted, it was against charlotte, but that kind of production across the board gives you an idea what he can produce. He managed 21 pts and 11 rebs against Boston earlier this year. And 16 points with 10 rebs against Miami. He's got a few more games like that on record throughout the year.

I'd insist he be included in any trade for Josh Smith, even if we have to include Zaza or Marvin in a trade to secure him.

Thompson is a free agent so there'll be a huge problem combining him in a deal with Tyreke.

1) Tyreke Evans would force a total remaking of our team. Guys who didn't fit would have to be dumped (because no one would give us a fair deal for them).
2) Tyreke Evans would doom us to isolation play. Our players would simply take turns hogging the ball.
