How Did Kirk's Great B Ball IQ fail to rub off on this team?

When Kirk Hinrich was traded for it was thought to be such a great trade by some of the media. They called it the underrated move of the trade season. The blogs were split. I know for sure the ajc blog was mostly against it, and that at some other smaller lessor blogs some people got banned for there strong opinions mostly dealing with the Hinrich situation as it concerned the whole IQ argument, it most definitely made very apparent a nasty argument about basketball IQ as Kirk Hinrich was immediately given the job of improving our overall basketball IQ by some dumb media outlets and by some lost bloggers. I truthfully had never heard the phrase used so much around Atlanta Hawks forums until our great savior Kirk was coming to save us.
Since there was such talk about Kirk and his great basketball IQ before he got here and it is obvious that he did not help us improve to a smarter basketball team, what do you attribute that failure to?
Do you still put a lot of value into your eye test of who has a high basketball IQ because obviously unless they are given wanderlick test in the NBA you have no facts to back up your claims of who are the high and low IQ players. Even if wanderlicks were given you would just ignore them when you please and flaunt them as proof when you decide. For instance, Marino's was lower than Vicks but I don't think too many people would argue with you that Vick can read a defense better than Marino.
Are the people that swore he had a high basketball IQ and would be so great for this team finally ready to admit that it was because of stereotypes that they swore Kirk's IQ would change the complexion of history?
Why was his great B Ball IQ unable to make a difference here or on the Wiz team that we overpaid to get him from?
Finally, hell yeah, like I said he is Kirk "Lateral Move" Hinrich with the potential to take us backwards and in some ways at some times he did take us backwards.
