I'd love to hear about, 1) what Kwame Brown's hand size is and, 2) what size y'all think is too small to play the
Center position.

I can't find anything on Kwame Brown's hand size, except to (keep) reading that his are too small. What IS "too small?"

Also, who has an opinion as which measurement is more important, hand length or width?

It's a measurement that will have to be in use for at least another 5 years before we can truly determine context. Kwame for fact had small hands given that he can't even palm the ball for a guy his size but he also has stone hands to go along with it. Phil Jackson made the point that a major difference between Jordan and Kobe is that Jordan could palm if not swallow the ball with one hand whereas Kobe can barely grip it. Should be noted that Josh also has small hands but as we can see it doesn't affect your overall ability just prevents you from doing things like raising one handed in traffic or doing the Duncan/KG move where they can hold the ball away from their body with one hand and flick it accurately to teammates.

I think hand size has everything to do with control, either the catch or the handle. Nash and Kidd have HUGE hands for their size, and that gives you extra control.

Josh STILL can't dribble effectively in the NBA, much like Shawn Kemp who became a better ball handler but was very likely to lose the ball when defended.

Guys like Kwame and Zaza (who I don't think can palm a ball either) will always have stones for hands because there is such a small margin of error between clean catch and fumbled away. I think alot of times "soft hands" and big hands mean the same thing in NBA talk.

Since you brought this back up, please note it still hasn't been answered.

Does anyone know what Kwame Brown's hand size is?
8"?
9"?

What's too small for a Center and is it length or width that's important?

I'm asking if anyone has NUMBERS, not philosophy.
