Kirk Hinrich has offer from Chicago

Apparently Chicago is offering him around 1.2 million or slightly higher.

I believe Kirk is gone. It isn't a money situation with him, but he will likely go ring chasing. Can't really blame him though.

if the Hawks cannot get under the cap, then Ferry should resign him and give him a slightly bigger contract than what Chicago offered.

I prefer to not even pursue Kirk. Chicago can have him at close to the minimum, but we won't stand a chance, and he won't be ring chasing, because Chicago looks suspect next season.

He is beyond loved there and has plenty roots so he's actually giving them a hometown discount. I don't care, it was clear his time here was over as he struggled all season to do anything and Ferry apparently isn't the type to bang his head up against the same wall hoping for better results.

Right. Bulls seemed to hav snagged him with their MMLE.

Wouldnt it benefit the Hawks to work with the Bulls to make into a S&T to at least get back a TPE?

I think the Korver trade was S&T

The Korver trade was made with our TPE (no S&T, Korver being already under contract) got form the Joe trade.
