Zaza and two draft picks for Dwight and JRich

Post#1 » by dtown8 » Tue Jul 10, 2012 6:18 pm

i'm not sure what is happening with the Nets trade, with Brook Lopez's $15 million per year price tag.

Orlando can get alot of cap space if Dwight leaves, but could also get a few draft picks and more cap space with JRich included.

^ yeah, i think Orlando did their due diligence and tried to explore a Nets trade and Lakers trade, but when the numbers came out, $15 million per year for Brook Lopez doesn't look good, and letting Dwight play out the season turns out to be the best option mathematically

I am pretty sure every team in the league can come up with a better offer than our backup center and two late first round draft picks(because if we have Howard, Horford, Smith and Teague, we are not going to be in the lottery.

Houston has three young draftees they can dangle and the cap space to take back Orlando's worst contract. I'd think that would be more appealing.

im praying for a Dwight trade to Houston, that is even better than Zaza and draft picks for Dwight and JRich, because Dwight will walk away from Houston after one year and Hawks can sign him straight up next summer and keep all of Atlanta's picks AND NOT HAVE TO TAKE ON JASON RICHARDSON'S CONTRACT!

No other team is going to make a better offer. this is the best offer for Dwight with no commitment

the second best option would be to just keep Dwight and let him walk after this year, which would be great for Atlanta.

When a trade is not legal it means that it cannot be done. Period. You are sending out 5 million in salary for 25 million. How can you think that that is even in the realm of possibility? Oh wait, I forgot who I'm typing to.

Harris and Petro can always be added (and/or bought out)

Its NOT the best offer. Its not a good offer. You are not trading a back up center and draft picks in the 20's for the best center in the NBA.

I am not sure how you could even try to justify such a horrible trade in your head as possible, let alone claim it would be the best deal.

Quite literally every single team in the NBA could offer better than that.

Go to NBA.com

Go to "Teams"

Them. All of them can make a better offer.

For instance(and none of these work under the trade rules but neiter does yours), how would Josh Childress, Robin Lopez and one or two of those draft picks from the Lakers be worse than ZAZA and two picks.

How would Kevin Martin and Scola be a worse deal?

How would a sign and traded Chris Kaman not be a better deal?

How would a sign and traded Javale McGee not be better?

How would a traded Nene not be better? Trade Blatche?

Anderson Varajo/Alonzo Gee? Sign and traded Asik?

apparently the Houston deal is not going to happen ....

"Magic Return To Negotiating Table With Nets On Howard Trade"

i think their is a problem with getting a commitment from Bynum to resign in Houston.

it is apparent that you don't follow current news.

it is obvious that you are just talking out of your as with the trades above and have no idea what an organization is trying to accomplish

i bet you that if you post Dwight/Nene trade would get shot down by every Wizards fan, i dare you to post it on the Wizards' board

by the way: Zaza > Blatche..... you obviously don't have a clue

I'm talking out MY ass. I just showed you alist of better players that teams are trying to move and all will have BETTER draft picks to give over you stupid deal of a Backup center and 2 draft picks in the 20s.

Maybe we should have held on to Marvin Williams so that we could trade for Lebron James(with two draft picks of course).

their is no better offer for Dwight than Zaza and picks and taking JRich contract. that is the reality and not the made up stuff you have.

it takes two to trade, the Hornets and Nuggets would never trade for a one year Dwight rental.

The Nuggets, who might lose McGee ANYWAY wouldn't trade him for Dwight Howard?

The Hornets wouldn't sign and trade Eric Gordon, WHO DOESN"T EVEN WANT TO PLAY FOR THEIR TEAM AND THEY JUST DRAFTED AUSTIN RIVERS, wouldn't sign Howard for the year and try to convince him to stay? If they lose them they have that Davis fella and a bunch of money in cap room. If they have him, they have him and Davis as the starting front court.

Again, these are horrible, cap impossible trades, but ALL these players are better than Zaza.

Please explain how a marginal back up center is a better deal than any of the free agents out there?

*sigh*
Zaza, Petro and Harris make a combined 17.2 million

Dwight and JRich make a combined 25.4 million

in a trade of outgoing salary between 9.8 million and 19.6 million you can only take that amount plus 5 million in salary back.

17.2 million + 5 million= 22.2 million

This trade is illegal.

This doesn't even take into account that Harris and Petro can't be moved in a package until December 1st at the earliest.

This trade is illegal.

I won't even bother mentioning that the Magic will laugh in your face. Houston and LA are offering better packages without a long-term commitment as is.

McGee, Nuggets Negotiating $10M Per Year Deal

Source: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/222235/McGee_Nuggets_Negotiating_$10M_Per_Year_Deal

by the way: at $10 million per year, that becomes a horrible DeAndre Jordan contract............. Zaza > McGee
