HOW IN THE HELL is that trade better?

HOW IN THE HELL is that trade better?
Varejao -> $27 million
Zaza -> $5 million
the Magic are not listening to their fans, because no way in hell do Magic fans want to take on Varejao's contract, who has been severely injured the last two years.![]()
the picks will be the same, because if Irvin grows like we all expect him, then Irvin and Bynum will make the playoffs in a weak east.

Varejao has 2 years and 18 million left on his contract with team option on the final year.
We are talking a 4 million difference and again, Anderson is better than Zaza.
Also how would the picks be the same? If we have Dwight AND Al AND Smith, we aren't just "making the playoffs." We would have a top 3 record in the east at worse. Cleveland with Bynum would be at the bottom of the playoff picture.
So again, in your head a better player and better draft picks is a WORSE deal than having a lesser player with worse draft picks.
...
What kind of logic is that?
