Boy that Dwight Howard sure is a baby...

After the Joe/Marvin trades, I was excited about ,the possibility of acquiring Dwight, even with the drama he would bring. But after reading about his latest meeting with Orlando's front office, I'm sick of it. He just doesn't get that he is not in control this year. If he plays out this season with Orlando and phones it in, I feel sorry for any team that takes him after that. What a shame...

Dear JTMoney:
1. Hello. How are you? It's been a awhile since your last post. Glad to see this offseason of Hope and Change has brought you back to the fold.
2. Yes. Dwight has proven to be a pain in the a$$. I do feel a little sorry for him, I mean there's nothing wrong simply wanting to work someplace else. I just don't get why he signed that extension last year.
3. True story, it's actually Gerald Wallace and Billy King's fault. Billy King traded their 1st round pick to Portland last year (inexplicably) in exchange for Gerald Wallace. Even though he was about to become a free agent this summer. Otherwise, NJ has both the cap space and a top 7 pick. More than enough to get Dwight when paired with Brook Lopez and those future picks.
4. I never thought anyone/thing could get me to express admiration for the way Lebron left Cleveland. At least he managed to do it in one swift move.
5. Stan Van Gundy was right. Extending Dwight's contract for 1 year simply extended the drama. ORL should have demanded a long term commitment or just caved and traded him at the deadline.
6. With all that said, he's still one of the top 10 players in the league. He'll make some team an instant contender.
Also, who dat who dat who dat who!?!?!?

this kinda reminds me of the Deion Sanders situation when he left Atlanta. Deion said that the reason why he left the Falcons is because when he talked to management, they were never really concern about winning.

If ORL keeps D12, someone explain to me how they will get rid off Duhon, J Rich and most importantly Turk...
I almost forgot they lost their most promising player behind D12 Anderson...
Why in the world should D12 stay?
Actually ATL is in the best position to acquire D12 (after the lakers). On Sept 12, they could ship Al, Harris and Jenkins and 2 picks (or 3 picks and keep Jenkins: 13 ATL, 13 HOU and 15 ATL if needed).
Needless to say that D12 would have to agree to extend first...

That extension is key. Especially since Dallas will the have the cap room to sign him outrighnext summer.
Brooklyn will be able to resume trade talks for D12 and include Brook Lopez, K Humphries et al come January.
