It was reported that he passed on five good teams to sign with the raptors.

That sucks; he'd make a great addition to our starting lineup at SF.

I get it though. He's an international player; Toronto is a beautiful, international type of city.
They have a young, highly regarded coach. They have a future and a team full of international players with Bargnani and Jose. DeroZan and Kyle Lowry are acouple of talented young players also.

He would be a significant upgrade at SF over Deshawn Stevenson.

Looks like they offered him a substantial role on the team, as he played 32 minutes in his first game with the team.

A 101-97 win over PHX.
