Good to get back to winning ways with a blowout of the Bulls. Although I didn't watch much of this one on account of the Falcons being on.
Al Horford (6)
Josh Smith (5)
Kyle Korver(2)
Zaza Pachulia (1)
Devin Harris (1)
Notes:
Al Horford was in a slump but he broke out of it tonight, he tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds getting back to his all star type double double ways, his shooting was also on point as he went 9-12 on a game high 33:58 mins played. Hopefully he can go back to being a model of consistency; Lou Williams didn't come off the bench but instead started tonight (GASP!!), but boy did he take advantage of his first team reps tonight: he had 16 points on 6-12 shooting and he had solid stats in other categories (4 rebounds, 3 assists);Jeff Teague also got back to his old self tonight against his younger brother Marquis: he had 11 points on 5-12 shooting but more importantly he had 8 assists marking the first time in a while where Jeff tallied more than 7 assists, he could've had more assists but he was pulled with 5 mins left to go in a blowout. Well done Jeff; Josh Smith also had a good all around game, 12 points isn't flashy and 6 rebounds is somewhat disappointing but his defense was as expected tonight: he had 2 blocks, 3 steals and he shut down Carlos Boozer making him go 2-6 from the field for only 8 points.
Just missed the cut:
Kyle Korver: He had a god 13 points on 50% shooting from the field and from 3, he also had 7 rebounds which for Korver is a pleasant surprise

I went with Al as his slump breaking ways were key to the win.

Re: Player of the Game
How is it even a contest tonight?
AL had more points and rebounds than any player on either team. Al shot 75% from the field. He held Noah below his season avg in scoring and rebounds.
He broke out of his 'minislump' in a big way on national TV.

Re: Player of the Game
i can understand why bothy Josh and Al should be considered. both Josh and Horford had great games. Josh was creating for everybody last night, being unselfish all game long, throwing up ally oops to Horford and Lou, and looked like DPOY, he was basically a 6'9 prime Jason Kidd.
with that said, i still voted for Horford in this one, basically for a sympathy vote and hopes he keeps up the effort and good work, in rebounding and finally hitting a jump shot and running the floor and running the pick and roll, and i hope Horford doesn't go back into his slump. go Al!
