Does anybody agree that we should basically just agree that my boy Kyle Korver aka Korvdog aka Defensive Player of the World is the greatest 3 point shooter of all time?

Reggie isn't the shooter guys like Kerr and Korver are. He just had a offense run for him and was an incredible catch and shoot guy. Korver can hit stand still better than Reggie and still go off catch and shoot.
I don't think that there really is a greatest shooter ever l. Can you really say Ray Allen can out shoot, say, Glenn Rice or Dell curry? Great at shooter are just great shooters.

Reggie Miller's career 3pt average was .395. His best season was .429.
Ray Allen's career average is .401. His best season was .453.
Glen Rice's - career .400, best season .470.
Korver's career average is .418. His best-ever season was (gulp) .536.
However, if you want to get depressed, take a look at Steve Kerr.

It proves nothing, You can't just look at stats when comparing the 2: Kyle Korver is knocking down 3s off the screen as the 4th option on a 2nd round Hawks team (maybe we'll get knocked out in the first) whereas Reggie was the 1st option on a Pacers team that made the conference finals twice and NBA finals once, he was the main guy defenses focused on, he also could make his own shot. Korver is the best 3 point shooter in the NBA today but saying that he's better than Reggie is a vast overstatement.

So I am guessing you think it proves nothing?
lol. But also, guys like Rice weren't even running off a million screens. Dude hit that shot with people on him due to his size and hit at an amazing rate. That's why shooter is so subjective and its next to impossible to point out one as a all-time best.

Glen Rice and Reggie Miller were both better than Korver. You cant just quote stats. There are too many other factors. Julyan Stone has a 1.000 FG% right now. Is Julyan Stone the best offensive player in the NBA? If Korver was the best shooter in the history of the NBA, I think he would have started more games in his career. I would probably place Korver in my top 20.
