I noticed too, hopefully if he does leave he will have thought Jenkins some of his secrets

I read both articles, one about Korver going back to Chicago and the other about going back to Utah, and i don't beleive both articles, because its just really bad hack journalism. in both articles, the reporters questions only focus on the Bulls and Jazz and they never ask questions about the Hawks, his new role in Atlanta, and his increased minutes and production.

I got the feeling it was just good business to say, "SurE!" when asked about playing anywhere next year.

He's kind of a fringe player and a specialist, so it's not like he gets to write his own ticket every offseason.

If Dwight Howard is a Class A Free Agent, Korver is like a Class C or D Free Agent. Those guys have to always be looking for work.

Yeah i agree, Why didnt they asks about atlanta. Of course a good guy like korver would say he would like to go back where he once played who wouldnt if they left on good terms

Its just what you say as a professional coming into free agency. Its not a big deal. If no one offers a better deal, Kyle is going nowhere.

Korver has averaged more minutes for us this year than either of the other teams gave him so I think he will be happy to stay here as long as the money isn't too far apart.

I understand the business side of Korver's response to the idea of returning to Utah but he came very close to crossing the line, in my opinion. Talking about if they offer, he would consider. You should have more respect for the organization you're playing for than to publicly state that you would listen to another organizations offer. If you want to play for Utah so bad then get the heck on. If Deshawn and Devin want to play for Dallas next year, fine.. Get the heck on.

He's attractive to everyone nowadays, what with his leading the NBA in 3pt shooting. OF COURSE, every hometown reporter is going to ask him if he'd sign with them. What's he supposed to do, limit his leverage by declaring he won't sign with another team? I think it's highly instructive that he said good things about the Bulls AND THEN the Jazz, former teams. If he'd only bragged on one of them, then we'd have something to worry about.

I think he's traveled so much that he has no ties anywhere and will sign with the highest bidder.

So what did you want him to do? Say Utah sucks and he would never sign with them?

He didn't say "I can't wait to get back to Utah" he said he would be open to going back there. Its really not that big of a deal. What you said is like saying a team looking at trade offers is disrespectful and that if they want to look at trade offers they should just cut the guy because theyobviously dont want him on their team.

You went from a simple statement to a extreme reaction pretty quickly there.
