What Happened Last Game:
Atlanta: Image lost 92-87 to Phoenix
LA: Image Beat Minnesota 116-94

Key to the Game: Our main Key for this one is to exploit the Point Guard matchup: Jeff Teague's offense is far superior to the defense of any of the Lakers' Point Guards, Teague is quicker and his penetration will be key to creating chances to our jump shooters on the outside and for Josh and Al on the inside, for us to win Teague has got to step up.

The Lakers are a star studded team who have been in a season long slump and who are without 2 key bigmen in Gasol and Jordan Hill, playing this team right now without Pau is a bargain.

Nicely done, ATLBoy. This thread is a throwback.

It's obvious you put alot of work into it.

Kudos.

Thank goodness. Otherwise Kobe'd have a field day.

Hope Deshawn's jumper is working tonight.

Me likey.

That other lineup had us at a disadvantage at every position.

This lineup matches up with them perfectly.

I expect AL to have another big night.
I expect Josh to hang tough helping to guard Kobe tonight.
I expect Zaza to be in foul trouble the entire game.

I expect Teague to be guarded by Kobe, so Josh might have to do alot of running the offense tonight.

Al Horford against Ron Artest sounds like advantage Hawks, but against Artest his quickness is taken away, his jumper is taken away and his lack of post game will negate him. AL on Dwight gives the Hawks an advantage.

Honestly, Drew should have started Jones.

I was almost with you, there.

Both are pretty tough matchups for AL.

Dwight is still the pre-eminent defensive big man in the league. No way that matching up against Dwight is better than matching up against 34 year old Ron Artest.

The Lakers start a couple of Ex-Defensive Player's of the Year. One is bigger, stronger than AL and in his prime.

The other is World Peace.

Here's to Josh putting in work on whoever the hell is guarding him.

Better matchup for Al. Jamison can't guard him.

Good job cutting away at that lead.

Horford 4 for 5 now, using the midrange shot once and post moves the other 3 times: nice jump hook, one up-and-under and once he jumped over Clark under the basket. Of course, we all know he can't score inside...

No one ever claimed he can't score from inside. He can't consistently score from the post. If you are going to argue this small of a sample size, Josh Smith is a great jump shooter.
