What if we can get Andre Iguodala "Iggy" in FA?

Am I the only one here hoping we sign Iggy in the off-season?!

Possibly. But I'd go a different route. Indy gives them trouble because they play good team defense and are strong where MIA is weak: PG & Center. I'd go big with Dwight or Pau or Al Jefferson and pound them on the boards, And in the post.
Spread the floor with Shooters and just play a clean, turnover free game.
The way San Antonio just did against OKC.
Miami is a terrible rebounding team. That's their weakness. Let's exploit it.
crorevis3124 wrote: Uhhhhh I wouldn't really say PG is a weakness for the Heat Chalmers is great he just doesn't get noticed much since he is surrounded by lebron, wade, and bosh, but Chalmers is really good if you watch...by the way, why did ferry not sign bird man when he had the chance at least for one year?

He's....a below average PG.
GREAT defender. But beyond that, a fringe player in the NBA.

Sorry, I can't drop my agenda yet. You just said he was a below average player before they became the Miami Cheat?
And now he gets treated like a star?

Smoove and Iguodala would indeed be a disaster.
HMFFL, do you have a preference between the two:
Josh the Shot blocker vs Iggy the lock down wing defender?

Rip2137 wrote:Couldn't disagree with you more there parson. Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony and Lebron James have all had our starting PF as their primary defender because we lack a solid wing defender(well we have Jones but he is not a offensive player in the slightest) I think a wing that can defend is our biggest need.
Iggy is basically a shorter Josh Smith. His shot selection will drive you nuts sometimes and he thinks he is better than he is, but he is an elite defender that can contribute offensively...exactly what we need.
Rip2137 wrote:Iggy's shoot selection is just as bad as Smiths. He is shooting four threes a game despite shooting 31% from there. Smith is shooting 3 games today with shooting only 31%. Both have this irrational confidence from three and refuse to stop looking for the shot.
