I really don't understand what DF is doing. I hope Jared Cunningham turns out to be our Russell Westbrook.

Cunningham was just a salary dump by the Mavericks which allowed us to move up in the draft to get a center and get us Muscala.

If that's what Ferry is counting on, I think we're in for a long couple of years.

I could be wrong, but I supposed that it was also a thing of being sure to get a player that can be stashed, especially since DAL was rumored to search one.
For example, if DAL choose Nogueira, and you had Gobert on your list after Nogueira, you were not able to stash him since he already said he wanted to come now.

Man I am just reaching........ but his game does appear to be similar to Westbrook's. If he is 3/4's the player Westbrook is maybe we found a diamond in the rough.

DAL fans say he is a very good athlete who hustles. Would fit Carroll coming off the bench.

Have to agree with uga_dawgs24 here, Cunningham was a straight salary dump from DAL. At this point, the most we can hope for is that he turns into a good D/little O type who can guard the 1 and 2 - think a shorter Dahntay Jones and even that is being pretty optimistic. Most likely, we'll decline Cunningham's TO for the '14-'15 season.
