Hawks' Assts will Interview for 76ers Coaching Vacancy

Post#1 » by Jamaaliver » Thu Jul 18, 2013 12:33 am

The 76ers have asked for and received permission to speak to Hawks assistant coaches Quin Snyder and Kenny Atkinson about the team's vacant head coach position.
Snyder joined the Hawks staff this summer as an assistant under new head coach Mike Budenholzer. He spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach with CSKA Moscow. Atkinson joined the Hawks last season as a member of Larry Drew's staff. He was the only assistant retained following Drew's departure and Budenholzer's hire.

WTH?!? I will be greatly annoyed if Quinn gets hired.

You guys think losing a top assistant will derail Bud's plans as a 1st time head coach?
Ay veteran Head Coaches out there who might be a better fit?
PJ Carlesimo is available...he was a long time San Antonio Assistant as well.

Carlesimo's a yeller. I'm not sure he'll fit in well with our vets and I would really be afraid to put him with our kids.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.
