OT: Atlanta Falcons and NFL Predictions

Post#1 » by Jamaaliver » Thu Sep 5, 2013 2:29 pm

We are in the dog days of the NBA Offseason, so I figured I'd talk a little football.

Falcons are fielding one of the best offenses in franchise history as we seem to have gone 'all-in' this season on a Super Bowl run. Surprising then that we will be dependibng on so many unproven players on defense.

I see New Orleans coming back with a vengeance this year. Sean Peyton's presence can't be underestimated.
Carolina should impress as well.

I have New Orleans winning the NFC South.

Carolina and Atlanta both taking Wild Cards.

Atlanta comes out of the NFC to play in the Superbowl though!!!

Defensive ROY-Jarvis Jones from Georgia
Offensive ROY-Tyler Eifert

The Texans will emerge from the AFC.

Aaron Rodgers wins MVP.

Roddy puts up another 1000 yard season.

Falcons win the Superbowl in a nail biter....

Thoughts?

The Falcons will probably have a similar year with narrow wins. At this point I don't care about them getting a 1 seed, I do hope they get the division title. I'd rather them not have to go on the road, like last season, as long as they are at the Meadowlands next winter.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

With all the injuries the Falcons are experiencing, I no longer believe they make a Super Bowl run this season.

This will be Coach Smith's most challenging run yet; I have no doubt the boys in red will go full tilt and keep us competitive week in and week out.

I think we can hold our own even with the injuries. Jackson could come back after 2 weeks, and I have hope that we'll be healthy by playoff time. I think we can do something in the playoffs as long as we don't have to play in Seattle.
