... are we wise to copy the SA style?
The offense is based on Tony Parker going one-on-one (and scoring at will) whenever the defense sags off of him. Sure, it makes Teague look good but will he involve the other players to the extent that it opens our offense up? In the 2nd half of the DAL game, he had 2 assists. Also, is this Schröder's style or is he not the true scorer the offense is designed for?
2nd, when the defense focuses on the PG, the SA offense goes inside to Tim Duncan, a great low-post scorer. When we tried Horford that way against DAL, it wasn't pretty. He's not going to dominate big Centers down low.
On the other hand, our old offense had Teague getting Horford open shots from midrange and Josh Smith getting him the ball down low for dunks. What about our new offense suits Horford?
Kyle Korver used to run around multiple picks to get open. Now, he runs around, trying to find picks that aren't there. What about our new offense suits Korver?
Can someone assure me that, when we have learned this complicated offense, Horford's midrange shots (and the driving dunks that fed off of the midrange game) and Korver's picks will return?
