Yeah, I was out and about tonight doing some present shopping and was checking in occasionally for updates. By the time I was home, there was under 3 minutes left and WASH had pulled within 1, so I didn't get the full game, but Horford was beasting down the stretch (and apparently all game...). Korver had 1 good look (and missed), but Horford was basically the entire O down the stretch (which isn't saying much mind you - he had 4 points in 3 minutes, but they were the only 4 points we scored). The buzzer beater in OT he hit was very nice - I'm sure you'll catch it in a highlight somewhere.

Have to hand it to WASH though. If someone got a rebound late then he either had to go over the rim to get it or fight out legions trying to pry it out of there - for both teams. Horford got his, but he worked for it.

On a somewhat sadder note: Jenkins got a DNP-CD tonight while our offensive SG down the stretch was Shelvin Mack who was 1-9 on the game and had a couple of missed layups while I was watching. Carroll came in for D when we could go O/D. I don't know what Jenkins did to get so far in Coach Bud's doghouse ("defense" is such a nebulous response as to mean almost nothing), but he's in there pretty far.

Enjoy the pageant... Not sure if that's your thing, you know someone, or are forced to be there, but as long as you're there, might as well have some fun.

I missed the game due to a flight.

What an outstanding performance by Horford.

I watched the entire game, but wasn't online during the action. Al Horford really stepped up in a big way and led our team throughout, good thing too cause Trever Booker was having a field day against us.

We all know about Al's buzzer beater to win it in OT, amazing play call by coach Bud and amazing pass by Pero Antic to get it to Al in that position btw, but what I find more impressive is what he did at the end of Regulation: down by 2 points with 5 seconds left Al got fouled down low, stepped up to foul line with ice in his veins and just buried both foul shots to tie it up. Al was only a 65% Free Throw shooter going in but he still demanded the ball and stepped up for us in the clutch. That's what I love to see from him, he knows he's our leader and is acting like it.

Kyle Korver also had a big game and had a CLUTCH 3 in Overtime. His streak stands at 92.

I had just returned home from one. I love 'em. I even love the bad ones. So long as they're celebrating the Reason for the season, it's always good.

I don't think Jenkins was with the team for this one though, wasn't he still with the D-League team?

He had been recalled but he might not have been in town. I didn't notice him tonight, but he's in the box score with 2 minutes.

Oh, I definitely noticed Jenkins defense or lack thereof at the end of that 4th.
