UGA, HMFFL can we get this stickied?

My wish list consists of:

1. Jabari Parker, this young man is everything we need offensively. I've heard Paul Pierce and Carmel comparisons. In a good way. I promise.
2. Wiggins, kid is special. But raw.
3. Embiid. I know we need a Center, but if we get a top 3 pick we have to thing long view. Embiid is special. Still behind Parker in terms of long-term potential. But has a chance to be a good one. Fills a need and has a chance to run the Center position out East for the next 15 years.

Overrated draft.

Where do y'all think we'll draft? BRK is firmly in the free for all that runs from the 4 seed (possibly even the 3 seed now with Horford out) in he East to the #3 or 4 pick in the draft. I keep dreaming that we'll get a shot at the Embiid/Exum/Parker/Wiggins crowd at the top, but for some reason, I have a hunch we'll be drafting in the 8-10 range. Unlike SBM and many others, I think if simply the guys expected to enter do, then this draft could compete for best ever status and there'll be HoF caliber players well into the teens - we just have to choose wisely...

Don't forget Julius Randle. That kid has talent and polish for such a young age. Though the thought of acquiring yet another PF makes my head hurt.

Honestly I have Randle in that 2nd group with Smart, Gordon, and Vonleh. Still think Randle could be upper echelon but so can those other 3...

Not only did we remove Joe Johnsons contract but the pick(s) we received are looking more appealing.

I think it's pretty safe to say we are set at PG and PF for the next 3-4 years in Teague and Horford, barring more injuries. We are missing a great defensive center and an elite wing scorer. If we want a wing, we could get-
Rodney Hood
James Young
Doug McDermott
Spencer Dinwiddle
Glenn Robinson III-
CJ WIlcox

If we want a center, we could get-
Willie Cauley-Stein
Noah Vonleh
Dario Saric

Honestly, I think Young or Cauley-Stein would be the best picks.

I have not seen anything special in college ball, but there are some guys out there that could help us because we have some extremely limited people at SG and SF and we don't have a traditional C even though I doubt we ever get anywhere close to Embiid and I am not a fan of WCS.

My Wishlist for the Hawks goes as follows:

4. Lamar Patterson
5. K.J. McDaniels
6. Marcus Smart

I have been watching Wiggins and I will be honest, I don't see it. I mean, he doesn't shoot so well. He doesn't have good ball handling skills. He's undersized. He's Marvin Williams - 30 lbs. About Embiid, this guy is interesting but unless we feel like Bebe is not going to ever be anything, I would rather get one of these top flight wings first.

Chad Ford has us taking Jerami Grant at 16 in his latest Mock Draft (2.0).

Analysis: The Nets sent this pick to the Hawks as part of the Joe Johnson trade a few years ago. What if Josh Smith had just been content doing the things he does well instead of launching ill-advised long 2s and 3s all game? Hawks fans probably stay up late at night wondering that. Well, Grant might be your answer. Like Smith, he's a freak athlete who has versatile skills. Unlike Smith, he knows he's not a great 3-point shooter and has taken just five all season.

I don't know much about him, but here's a highlight mix of him:

^At this point, I really want a traditional SG who can create his own shot.

Lou is undersized an erratic, Korver too limted offensively, Jenkins still unproven.

I want a dude who can run the offense occasionally, finish in transition and takeover games in key stretches. Doesn't need to be a world-beater, just good enough to make opposing SGs stay on their toes defensively.

Selden from Kansas, Young from Kentucky come to mind.

Also...and I know I'm in the minority on this one. I'd take a flier and trade a 2nd round pick to New Orleans for Austin Rivers. Let Bud take him on as a long term project to teach him how to play team basketball.
I also think Doron Lamb from Orlando still has long term potential as a SG in this league as well.

I'd actually be on board with this idea. Rivers is just a couple years removed from being a lotto pick so he does have potential, and we all know that he can shoot, even if he gets in the occasional slump. If it's just for a 2nd rounder then we should go ahead and do it.

Lamb is another good player, and good shooter, I'd like to have on the team. I remember we were 1 pick away from getting him in the 2nd round, now it might be a good thing that we didn't get him since we got Mike Scott who's looking like a great glue guy for years to come. Lamb also just lit us up in our game against the Magic last week, he's another guy I wouldn't mind spending a 2nd on.
