Thankful to have a game tonight to get the bad taste out from Friday quicker.

Really disappointing to see Schroder not playing other than a few minutes in the first quarter. Coach Bud needs to give this kid a chance.

How on earth did you guys survive watching a Larry Drew run offense? We're at the halfway point in Milwaukee and I want to die.

I am sure he would have had the guys on the court not put together such a run. Guess he didn't want to break that group up. I am sure the kid will get in.

I am not a Drew fan. In the slightest. But I think this is more of personel vs Drew's offense.

I think Dennis had his practice shorts on when the Buck grabbed the net, and he went out...With a large lead Bud may just have to play him.

I have to admit.

I used to like Larry Sanders. I really thought that he would be an interesting fit with Horf. I mean his defense would help out a lot. However, after tonight... I have to re-evaluate everything.

I've never really rooted for another team's success but I applauded SorrMelo the other night so... IF the Hawks can't get a top 3 pick in the draft, please let it be that Milwaukee get the first pick. Hell, the first and second if it's possible. These dudes are terruble.
What you lookin' at? You all a bunch of ****' a-holes. You know why? You don't have the guts to be what you wanna be? You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your freakin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy."

One thing about an LD O is that it demands the PG position be on the same page with the coach and the shooters to keep the middle open for the PNR game and back door cuts. Honestly, I don't see either on MIL right now. Not sure if it'd be better to simply fire LD and see if someone else has a better shot or just continue to develop the roster.

The funny thing is, he plays Knight at PG when the two best point guards are both rookies.

And, seriously, how did you guys NOT go crazy with all the long twos? And the rotating away from shooters at the strong side corner?

The Bucks have the same ratio of corner threes to overall threes as the league did back in 1998. It's... madness.

Missed the game but I'm watching it on delay. Did anyone notice that Schröder made a good cut for a layup and was immediately yanked in the 1st qtr? Henson got called for hanging on the rim (on defense), the refs warned both teams and Dennis wasn't on the court when they returned to play.

Any idea what's going on?

I'm enjoying Ayon. He's a lighter, less muscled Zaza Pachulia with better driving skills.

Schröder looks good but can't make a layup. I just watched him learn not to try to lay up the ball against a much longer man (Antetokounmpo). He's fast and smooth but the Bucks are just man-handling him.

More rookie watch: in the same play, we have Dennis with a careless pass, resulting in a steal and a layup, resulting in a really terrific block by Cunningham. Jared is some kind of athlete. If we can teach him to be a basketball player...

How do you know that your prized rookie isn't receiving enough playing time?

In an odd moment, rookie Dennis Schroder had to be pulled from the game in the first quarter because he was wearing practice shorts instead of his regulation uniform.

Agreed. But for some reason we've decided Cartier Martin and James Nunally are more worth our time to concentrate on than Jared Cunningham.
I do see something in him. Obviously not star potential, but the ability to play above the rim, finish in transition. Hope he gets a chance somewhere to really show what he's got.

Orrrrrrr, how do you know when your prized rookie doesn't have his head in the game?

I'm not worried about Schroder just yet. He's a 20 year old kid who just came from Germany where the playing style is different and slower than in the United States. This is why we I believe we should throw him into the fire, the best way of learning is through trial and error. I hope he gets at least 5-10 mins of playing time in games this season.
