From time to time, I have to check myself. I posted about Ferry's good guy culture and prolly missing somebody... but then I had to think about Championship teams. Most "Championship Teams" have good guys on it. Maybe Ferry's on to something. I understand that Good guys go with the flow, doesn't cause lockerroom tension, and do what has to be done. So Hawks fans, think with me... On these championship teams... are they all Good guys??
1. Miami? - Well, Birdman... but he's reformed.
2. Indiana?
3. San Antonio?
4. Oklahoma City?
In fact, the last non-Good guy team that we saw was Boston. They have since been dismantled.
Is it that being championship contenders make people get in line or is it that there's just good guy players on championship teams?
Barkley never won a ring... But Mahorn did?
What do you think?

I wouldn't expect it to be "good guys" so much as committed guys - players too into the game to mess around. Josh Smith is a good guy but imagine him focused like a laser on just playing smart, tough ball. It boggles the mind. We'd be building him statues.

That's debatable. Some say he had runins with coaches and lockerroom fights.
However, I'm taken aback by Loul Deng. He said about Cleveland Cavs Practice that the stuff going on here would have never happened in Chicago. Deng is one of those Ferry guys. Allstar type but not a really big name.
