Hawks destroying the Celtics Early

Post#1 » by Jamaaliver » Thu Feb 27, 2014 12:46 am

After putting an end to their season-worst skid, the Atlanta Hawks squandered a chance at a second straight victory with sloppy play down the stretch.

But even a mediocre performance from the banged-up squad might be enough to overcome the sputtering Boston Celtics.

Looks like a visit to MASS was just what the doctor ordered.

Getting them early with a 11-2 run to stat the game.

Did anyone else watch the great defense that Schröder played against Rondo? It was just one play but it was smothering.

Tankers should be happy: we're losing and playing the kids. And Dennis looks pretty good ... well, he's not stinking out there and I've seen him make 3 good plays.

(Hey! What do you expect? I'm a homer.)

We're in a 3 PG offense (Dennis, Lou and Mack) with Carroll at PF and Cartier Martin at Center.

Now that this is over, let me just say, this was not the best choice of a thread title.

Disappointed Pittman didn't get more burn. But kudos to Bud for allowing DS to play.

At least you're man enough to admit it.

Loss but I'm glad Schroder got some burn. Looks like Coach Bud doesn't hate German Chocolate after all ;)

I was over on the Celtics board for a little bit. Don't worry, they're too busy crying about not being able to tank. I missed the one minute that Pittman played, so I can't comment on his play. As for the homer admission, it's so obvious that I might as well fess up to it.

I think he was inspired by playing Rondo.

Dennis was trash during the 1st half time they put him in that lead was gone. The coach lost that game broke up the chemistry by putting bench in in 1st quarter and they never looked back.

"Budenholzer played his vets too much; wore them out."
"Coach shoulda never played that 2nd unit; they lost the game."

Welcome to your opinion.

NOTE: Seriously, this is how you got the reputation you had before. As a guy who hates EVERYTHING.
