Would you pick up Lance Stephenson for 4 yrs 42 Million?

The real question is do you think he's worth it to the team?

No. I'm not giving Lance Stephenson 10.5 million a year

A: He is not too far removed from being a moronic basketball player that could wow you one moment but Jordan Crawford/Jr Smith you the next with his decisions with the ball. I am not convinced that this is not simply just a good year(in a contract year by the way). Also, everything about his game benefits from being the Peerless Price. Looks great when there are better players around him, but what does he look like when the other team can focus on him. Not every "2" can be a "1" only in this case he is a 4 that people want to pay like a 2.

B: He is not that far removed from being an ALLEGEDLY incredibly horrible human being. He was arrested in 2008 for groping a girls breast and butt in high school then in 2010 for shoving his girlfriend down the stairs and banging her head against them. Sure, these are both ALLEGED incidents, and MAYBE he just got accused both times and was completely innocent, but I personally don't believe that and don't want the guy on my team for incident #3.

I like him as a player in his current seting. Not sure that he would fit in nicely with the ATL philosophy...

Personally, I wouldn't give him 8 per to play for us. I think he is "system made". The only thing that makes him different is that I believe his defense is really good.
