Man, PHX is playing the passing lanes really tight against both Dennis and Jeff.
As a result, Phoenix has 4 steals in the 1st quarter and DS has 2 turnovers already....worth watching to see if our guards adjust.

Muscala's in the GAme!!!!!
I keep wondering if Ferry ever mandates (suggests?) that Bud play some of the young guys more than he currently does.

Lou finally knocked all that rust off. I think he heard you guys talking about him last week...

As much as I like Pero Antic, I look forward to the day we start a Center who doesn't spend so much time camped out at the 3-point line on offense.
i read that opposing defense have started using PFs to guard him since he rarely spends time in the paint.

With Lous having a bounce back game, Dennis hasn't played much (any?) in the second half. Same for Muscala...
Four point game with 9 minutes left

Man, Suns play like a friggin' video game. All fast breaks and 3-pt attempts. It's actually kind of frustrating to watch.
And got to be exhausting to defend, also.
We need a Center. We need a talent upgrade.
This pace/game seems like it'd be the perfect situation for Bebe to thrive in once he gets here.

Brand is legit in the paint. It's just Hawks don't have a big who can guard outside the paint. This is where they miss Josh. A big who can guard shooting bigs without it being a disadvantage.
Unfortunately, with his defense came his questionable offense

Brand is indeed legit. But at this point in his career has difficulty playing at this pace (or any pace?) for a long period of time.
we have a Center drafted last summer that is legit 7 footer but runs like a gazelle. He's been compared (defensively) to Joakim Noah due to his agility. He is definitely a big who can guard outside the paint...

I hope Muscala gets sent down to the d-league for a one or two game stint before the end of the season to get some confidence and more burn

Yeah, it's pretty mind boggling that we'd buyout Muscala's contract. Forfeit most of his rookie year to bring him over mid-season....and then go weeks without playing him.
I admire Coach Bud for coaching to win games, but he has to find a better balance of doing so while developing young players.
Dexter Pittman could have stayed on the bench if were'nt gonna play him....
