We would have had the 11th pick in the draft if we finished in 9th place behind the Knicks and the balls bounced the same way they did.

Thought about it.
But I admit the benefit of an impressive showing in the playoffs is likely greater than the value of pick #11 in the draft. Though, James Young in our backcourt with Dennis could have been a thing of beauty in 5 years.
Now, if that Knicks draft pick had ended up in the top 3....
