I got to see a sneak preview last week before the site went live and I didnt say anything. But........why is there no Horford shirt....................

I noticed it when I saw it last week but figured it was just a test version of the site and wasnt live yet. now that its out, why wouldnt our #1 player have his own T Shirt Jersey?

AL's my favorite Hawks ever. But even I acknowledge it may be time. I value team over player.

That is strange but I don't think it's anything significant. Or at least I hope it's not. I would like to see Al stick around for awhile as long as he can figure out this pec issue.

and his current trade value would be at it's all-time low. It would be smart to get him back on the court dominating before trying to trade him if we are going to trade him.

Antic is pretty popular with America's Macedonian population, I'm sure putting him there was a strictly business decision.

But could it be that Ferry saw how much we competed without Al and already found a deal for a top 5 pick in this draft? One thing's for sure, I'm much more intrigued about this draft than I was, and I was pretty intrigued.

there is literally zero argument for having no Al Horford Jersey available. Hes the "face of the franchise".

Also, They just put up a HUGE 70 foot billboard of Millsap over 85/400. Maybe AH is the odd man out...........

I dont think this means anything. Its a marketing decision. A Horford shirt will not sell well after him being out most of the season. Hawks merchandise doesnt really sell at all. I bet they sell most of their merchandise at Phillips after a game. I remember Tyronn Lue had a big game a few years back and I heard like 10 kids asking their parents for a Tyronn Lue jersey. Really, not Joe Johnson, not Josh Smith, not Horford...Lue...

They probably didnt think it was worth printing out a Horford shirt b/c they figured their main source of income has already forgotten about him since he was out. I bet they had a bunch of market research on what person to make a shirt for, and Horford didnt get chosen b/c our fanbase is too fickle.

The only people that care about Horford are the real fans, but we already have a Hawks shirt. thats my opinion, but I could be completely wrong.

Horford finally has his shirt back up on the site. (First item shown.) Now he is being included in Hawks marketing for season ticket sales:

Hopefully this means team is embracing him as part of its future. Wish we had done so years ago...
