After Atlanta’s season mercifully ended, Woodson asked Diaw during his exit interview to come back the next season with a scorer’s mentality. “I cannot play for you,” Diaw simply responded.

One of the most important aspects of BBall: KYP.

Know Your Personnel. Woody only knew one way to coach/play. He largely misused Boris and even Josh Childress. Two guys who operated better without the ball and weren't individual scorers.

It also tells me that Woody and BK weren't completely on the same page.
BK drafting guys who aren't natural scorers, Woody running a straight isolation offense.

I try to remember that Woody himself was pretty inexperienced as a HC at this point. But the guy just did not know how to adjust to the strengths of his players.

Diaw tried out sr every position for us.
When we drafted him, I was very excited, but quickly learned he would never succeed with us.
I still like Diaw and am happy he's been successful since we traded him for Joe Johnson.
