Game Notes: This team is coming off a victory against the Spurs the other day. Not sure how they beat the Spurs but they did so this isn't a game to be taken lightly. Both teams are coming off a days rest so it will be interesting to say the least. Because of the pick swap I always want Brooklyn to lose but definitely more so when they play us. Let's go get the W.

The defense is phenomenal tonight. Looks like a bunch of swarming angry bees out there.

Good win for the Hawks. They got a cupcake schedule next week (ORL 2x, PHI, IND). Hopefully they carry on a killer instinct throughout next week.

How the crap did brooklyn beat the Spurs? They looked horrid out there at everything tonight. They made us look like world beaters lol.

It was a painful start, but it was still a good win.

Demarre get the game ball. Dennis had another great game. The Louis and Bebe trade looks better and better everyday.

I said before i would be willing to trade Teague if they can get somebody like Mudiay, Towns, or Okafor. Teague has been playing great. But Dennis has been solid this year and i would be more open to trading Teague now for Stanley Johnson, Porzingis, Myles Turner, D'Angelo Russell, Caris LeVert, or Justise Winslow

-Great win tonight. We need to rack up as many Ws as possible because the competition gets tougher in about a week.

-I am amazed and impressed by how well Demarre is playing this season. He's improved his 3-pt shooting and is just a great fit in this offense.

-Whatever magic fairy dust Shelvin Mack was using last season has officially run out. He looks very...ordinary out there.

-Trying to be patient while Horford regains his form out there. His defense was better, btu I need to see some tangible improvement by month's end.

-The defense was much better overall. A very good sign against a team with 3 legitimate All Star candidates.

-Dennis Schroeder (aka the Shredder) is a star in the making. This stretch he is in isn't just a hot streak. It's a full blown trend. It's who he is...and he is only going to improve. We finally have a star in HOTLANTA!!!!

Teague is far and away our best trade chip. And if we can get a guy like Porzingis plus some useful vets...I'm all for a rebuild around young stars. With vets like Horford, Demarre and Korver to help bridge the gap from one generation to the next.

We're currently 3rd in the east, one back of 2nd place Washington, and 2 back of first place Toronto. If we take care of business and win these 5 games, we should be able to climb the latter even more.

Agreed. And it would be impossible to know which team would have a top pick to even pursue.

But trading Teague next summer for a top 7 pick (plus change) and handing the reigns over to Dennis seems like a savvy move.

I'd have preferred we done it this past summer and drafted Saric (while replacing Teague with a vet PG like Jameer to push Dennis).

But I agree, trading Teague now would be too risky, would weaken the bench and ruin what hopefully could be a special season.

Who said that anybody wants to trade Teague mid season???
