Obviously this is an unfortunate event for cavs fans and nobody wants to celebrate an injury.
My question: How does this injury shape the east i.e. the race for homecourt & moreover the trade rumors/likelihood of Cleveland landing a big?

Koufos, Mozgov or Monroe seem likely trade targets.
But we might see CLE follow the MIA model the last few years. Play Love as undersized Center, Lebron as undersized PF and just adjust from there. But, yeah, they'll need at least a rebounder/post defender off the bench.
What is G Oden up to?

Short term it hurts the Cavs because they got to re-establish chemistry but the way the team is built, small ball might be their best bet.
I wouldn't be surprised if Haywood steps up and be their tough big off the bench like Birdman was for LeBron in MIA. Haywood will be a 10 million dollar non-guaranteed expiring contract this summer.

Huge hit for Cleveland.
It helps us for sure since Cleveland has less depth now.
